Enola
Enola is "alone" spelled backward, a name that signifies our commitment to letting everyone know they are not alone.
We aim to bridge the gaps in urban mental health support systems by eliminating the barriers to seeking help and providing the most suitable assistance with a combination of targeted AI and in-person wellness programs.
Our team consists of people from mental health and technology backgrounds dedicated to serve.
Project Implementation
Application Development
In order to meet the tight deadline for CityU Tech 300 and App Works applications, we carefully selected a flexible tech stack that would expedite our development process. Accordingly, we built our prototype application using Next.js, AuthJS, and OpenAI API, and deployed it on Vercel. This combination allowed us to create an efficient and adaptable development environment.
Prompt Engineering
We are applying the role of prompt engineering to deliver the MVP of an AI therapist. By providing situation, role, and response examples to the AI model, we aim to enhance the quality and relevance of the AI therapist's responses.
Security and Privacy
We prioritize user safety by filtering out dangerous and sensitive words, such as "suicide," from the AI's responses.
Our development team is also focused on ensuring the security of the AI model. We have implemented measures to prevent prompt injection from users, safeguarding the model's integrity.
Lastly, and most importantly, we prioritize user privacy. No conversations will be recorded on our servers or stored in our databases. Instead, conversations are stored exclusively on the user's device, allowing the model to maintain context for continuous chat while ensuring the utmost privacy.
